Montgomery County Public Schools is “thrilled to announce the achievements” of Blacksburg Middle School students at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Conference.
The students, from the BMS FBLA chapter, made it to the finals, securing spots among the top twelve participants in their respective events.
The FBLA National Championships are highly competitive, bringing together state winners from across the United States. Each event featured approximately 50 teams, with some events including two to three students per team, all vying for the coveted top 10 places.

“This remarkable feat underscores the exceptional caliber of our students and their commitment to excellence,” MCPS announced.
National champions and top performers include:
National First Place Winner – Team of One: Ahmet Dogan – Exploring Business Issues
National First Place Winners – Team of Three: Grace Li, Sadie Zhang, and Sophie Zhang – Multimedia and Website Design
Sixth Place Winner – Team of One: Xixi Liu – Community Service Presentation
