BLACKSBURG – Carilion Clinic celebrated the new renovation of its Family Medicine – Blacksburg practice (901 Plantation Road) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with clinical teams on Thursday, July 25.
The local family medicine practice, which opened in 1998, has completed significant renovations, adding 12 patient exam rooms and welcoming four new providers to the team. Renovations began in January 2024, and the practice remained open to patients throughout the project.
“These renovations allow us to offer enhanced patient care, increased appointment availability and a more efficient experience,” said Michael Jeremiah, M.D., family and community medicine medical chair. “We are so excited to welcome new patients into our upgraded space.”
