Auburn Middle School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members achieved outstanding success at the FBLA National Leadership Conference, held over the summer in Orlando.
The AMS Video Game Design Challenge team, consisting of Caiden Richards, Eli Smith, and Noah Harris, secured an impressive fourth-place finish on the national stage.
The FBLA NLC is an esteemed annual event that brings together over 17,000 middle school, high school, and college students, along with their advisers, volunteers, and exhibitors, from across the nation. Participants have the opportunity to compete in various business-related events, attend leadership workshops, and engage with representatives from colleges, universities and potential employers.
In addition to the Video Game Design Challenge team’s success, AMS was also represented by the Marketing Mix Challenge team of Christian Hash and Alexander Rios, as well as the Critical Thinking Challenge team of Eva Gates and Lilliana Richmeier.
“Seeing this level of dedication, hard work, and grit from students of any age is so impressive,” AMS FBLA Advisor Ms. Belcher said. “These were sixth graders and their first experience with FBLA competitions, and I can’t wait to see what they are going to accomplish next.”
