The Town of Christiansburg Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Christiansburg Town Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073, pursuant to Sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-2285 of
the Code of Virginia, as amended. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning:
- Rezoning request by, David L. Dove and Hattie P. Dove (H&W), Property
Owners, and The Town of Christiansburg, Applicant, to rezone property identified
as all of Tax Parcel 500-(A)-1A, (Parcel ID 019656), and consisting of approximately
14.100 acres located at 255 Simmons Road SE; and an approximate 0.460 acre
property located at 255 Simmons Road NE, identified as Tax Parcel 499-(14)-AB, (Parcel ID 019655), from Agricultural District (A) to General Industrial District (I-2). The
property is designated as Multi-Family Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
A copy of the applications, the Town’s Zoning Map, Zoning Ordinance, and Future Land Use Map may be viewed in the Planning Department Office, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073, during normal office hours of
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
