Find out about a project to improve safety and traffic
flow at the intersection of Route 11/460 (Roanoke
Road) and Route 637 (Alleghany Springs Road) in
Montgomery County.
The project entails constructing a new 200-foot, left
turn lane from eastbound Route 11/460 onto
northbound Alleghany Springs Road and extending
the left turn lane from westbound Route 11/460 onto
Alleghany Springs Road about 175 feet. In addition,
the right turn lane from Alleghany Springs Road onto
eastbound Route 11/460 would be extended
approximately 250 feet. The existing crossover
located 300 feet west of the intersection would be
removed.
