The Blacksburg High School band performs in Friday night’s Christmas parade along Main Street.
BLACKSBURG – The Town of Blacksburg celebrated Christmas on a cold Friday night this past weekend.
From music to gift vendors, a festive parade and Santa, the event brought thousands of people downtown to celebrate the season. Shoppers browsed for Christmas gifts along Blacksburg’s College Avenue and were treated by a Tuba Christmas performance in front of the Lyric Theater. The parade included lots of lights, Santa waving from a fire ladder truck, a musical march by the Blacksburg High School Marching Band and more.
