Helen was employed at Burlington Industries in Radford and retired from Corning Glass Works in Christiansburg. She was an excellent cook and delighted in Sunday family gatherings. After retirement, she enjoyed every minute of providing care for her grandchildren, Leslie and Matthew and neighboring children, Ashley and Frankie Ritter. She should have been a schoolteacher as evidenced by the education the children received preparing them for kindergarten.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Pulaski Health and Rehab Long Term Care for their compassion, especially during her final days.
