Clara Ann Akers Vaughn, 100, passed away Friday Nov. 21, 2025. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Howard and Edna Reed Akers; husband, Walter W. Vaughn; granddaughters, Jessica Vaughn and Michelle Shelton Fulcher; brothers, Bill, Bob, Shirl, Ray and Richard Akers; and sisters, Claudine Poff, Lynn Hughes, Peggy Reed and Doretta Shorter.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Wayne and Christina Vaughn, Guy “Terry” and Chriss Vaughn, David Leon and Sharon Vaughn, and Danny Lee and Sherry Vaughn; grandchildren, Kimberly, Ariel, Stevie, Erika, Justin, Zach and Theresa; 20 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Akers; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family received friends Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services followed with Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Interment followed in Vaughn Cemetery.
