The Town of Christiansburg Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Christiansburg Town Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073, pursuant to Sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-2285 of
the Code of Virginia, as amended. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning:
- Rezoning request by Madison Apartment Homes LLC and Madison Apartment Homes II LLC, Property Owner and Applicant, for an amendment to proffers
on Tax Parcel 434 – ((A)) – 8A (Parcel ID 110779) and 434 – ((A)) – 8B (Parcel ID
310087), consisting of approximately 7.950 acres, located at the intersection of
Peppers Ferry Road, New Village Drive, and Bozeman Trail. The property is zoned
Multi-Family Residential (R-3) with proffers, and the request is to amend the proffers accepted with the 2020 rezoning action. The property is designated as Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
Town Hall will be open and available to receive public comment in-person at the time of this Public Hearing. A copy of the application, the Town’s Zoning Map, Zoning Ordinance, and
Future Land Use Map may be viewed in the Planning Department Office, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073, during normal office hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through
