Local swimmers shine in state championships

The Radford High School Girls Swim and Dive team are the 2026 state runners-up. The boys and girls teams 2026 State Swim and Dive results included: Boys 200 Medley Relay: 10th (Emrys King, Anderson Waff, Ben Marinaro, Joseph Epley); Girls 200 Medley Relay: 10th (Emma Yates, Allie Mayer, Peyton Mowry, Lily Francis); 200 Free: Peyton Mowry – 10th; 200 IM: Tatti Bernier 4th; 50 Free: Ben Marinaro -2nd and Jill Grim – 5th; 1m Diving- Joseph Epley -3rd, Jill Grim – 1st and Kennedy Fender -2nd; 100 Fly: Tatti Bernier -4th; 100 Free: Ben Marinaro – 3rd; 500 Free: Emma Yates – 13th; Girls 200 Free Relay: Jill Grim, Allie Mayer, Peyton Mowry and Tatti Bernier- 2nd; and Girls 400 Free Relay: Jill Grim, Allie Mayer, Peyton Mowry, Tatti Bernier- 2nd.
