Each year, the Warm Hearth Foundation awards roughly $30,000 in scholarships to employees of Warm Hearth Village to support their educational and professional goals.

The organization’s commitment to fostering the growth and development of its employees has increased steadily over the last five years recognizing their role in the wellbeing of residents and the organization’s success.

We are celebrating five recipients who have successfully completed their programs. Annie Dickerson, a Showalter Center employee, successfully completed coursework and licensure to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Kroontje Health Care Center celebrates Amy Greer who is also now an LPN as well as Tabitha Greenhalgh, Michele Harvey and Amber Sult who have each earned their nursing degree and become Registered Nurses (RN).

“Knowing that our efforts and the support of our generous donors have helped these dedicated employees achieve their educational goals is exciting,” said Tambra Dixon, V.P. of Philanthropy & Strategic Growth at Warm Hearth. “We are fortunate to have them on our team, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.”

The entire Warm Hearth Village community applauds the achievements of these healthcare professionals and looks forward to their continued contributions as they care for residents and collaborate with colleagues. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the generous donors whose support makes these accomplishments possible.
