Ernest “Ernie” Elton Hamilton, 76, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Nathan and Ruby Bolden Hamilton.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Hinkley Hamilton; son and daughter-in-law, Johnathan Hamilton (Stephanie); daughter and son-in-law, Carrie Hamilton Foster (Chris); special grandson, Joe Hamilton; grandchildren, Madison and Chapman Tucker, Kelsi and Blake Foster, and Shiane Warner; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael Hamilton (Kristi), and Nelson Hamilton (Nancy); and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
The family received friends Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the funeral home with Rev. Clayton Kipps and Rev. Josh Collins officiating. Burial followed in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, Attn: Development, 4751 Cove Road NW, Roanoke, VA, 24017.
The Hamilton family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
