The next history exhibit at the Montgomery Museum of Art and History is Above: An Aviation History of Montgomery County, sponsored by Wing, a subsidiary of Alphabet.
In addition to historical aviation artifacts, the museum will have a modern commercial delivery drone hanging from the ceiling.
Montgomery Museum of Art and History is calling artists to participate in the accompanying art theme show “Aviation/Flight” so let your imagination soar! This exhibit will run from Sept. 11 to Nov. 2, 2024.
Registration is free for museum members, $20 for non-members. No images are required to register. Several days before the opening you will be asked to register your title and price (if any). Up to three pieces may be submitted.
Show parameters: Any 2D or 3D artworks representing anything to do with aviation or flight themes, and that are family-appropriate will be accepted. This is a non-juried show. However, the museum reserves the right to reject art that does not adhere to these conditions. This show will be installed on Sept. 9.
