The Town of Christiansburg Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 8,
2024, at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Christiansburg Town Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning:
- Rezoning request by Robert P. Fralin, Registered Agent for F & B Land, L.P.,
Applicant and Property Owner, to rezone property located on the west side of
Moose Dr. NW at the College St. NW, intersection, identified as Tax Parcel 556-((A))-9; (Parcel ID 008095), and consisting of approximately 16.330 acres, from
Agricultural District (A) and General Business District (B-3) to Multi-Family Residential District (R-3). The property is designated as Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
- Conditional Use Permit request by Robert P. Fralin, Registered Agent for F & B
Land, L.P., Applicant and Property Owner, to allow a planned housing development for a multi-family project of a maximum of 162 apartments in the proposed Multi-Family
Residential District (R-3) zoning district on property located on the west side of
Moose Dr. NW at the College St. NW, intersection, identified as Tax Parcel 556-((A))-9; (Parcel ID 008095), and consisting of approximately 16.330 acres. The
property is designated as Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013
Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
- Rezoning request by Roger Woody, Registered Agent for RWW 34 LLC, Applicant and Property Owner, to rezone property located on the southeast corner of Sherwood Dr. NE and Maid Marian Ln., and adjacent to the US Rt. 460 Bypass, identified as approximately 2.31 acres of a 10.227 acre parcel; identified as Tax Parcel
499-((A))-12; (Parcel ID 018085), from Single-Family Residential District (R-1) to
General Business District (B-3). The property is designated as Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
- Conditional Use Permit request by Roger Woody, Registered Agent for RWW 34 LLC, Applicant and Property Owner, to allow a 90-unit Townhome Residential Development in the General Business District (B-3) zoning district on property located
on the southeast corner of Sherwood Dr. NE and Maid Marian Ln., and adjacent to the US Rt. 460 Bypass, identified as Tax Parcel 499-((A))-12; (Parcel ID
018085), and consisting of approximately of 10.227 acres. The property is designated as Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
