Violet Evonne Simpkins Sowers, 75, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arville Ray and Nellie Louise Simpkins; her loving husband, Joe David Sowers; brothers, Les and Harold Simpkins; sister, Kathy Reece; and her nephew, Benjamin Sowers.
Survivors include her nephews, Dwayne Simpkins (Angi), and Tim Simpkins; her niece, Sarah Gillenwater (Joe); and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends 10 – 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tony Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Pulaski County.
