His love for his son and grandchildren was unmatched. He spent his life dedicated to his career, ensuring his family was provided for and was always there for anyone in need. His favorite hobbies were watching football, NASCAR, traveling, camping and spending time with his loving wife, family and friends.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Scott Blaylock of Radford; grandchildren, Austin Blaylock of High Point, N.C., Alayna Blaylock of High Point, N.C., Josie Blaylock of Radford, Drew Blaylock of Topeka, Kan., Dakota Blaylock of Valley Center, Kan., and Miles Blaylock of Hutchinson, Kan.; and great grandson, Braxton Wayne Blaylock of Topeka, Kan.

To honor Wayne’s request, no formal funeral services will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A private family gathering in celebration of Wayne’s life will be held for family and friends Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, 2 – 6 p.m. at the family residence.

Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford is honored to be caring for the Blaylock Family.
