The Town of Christiansburg Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers of the Christiansburg Town Hall, 100 E. Main Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning:
- Rezoning request by, David L. Dove and Hattie P. Dove, Property Owners, and The Town of Christiansburg, Applicant, to rezone property located at 255 Simmons Road NE identified as all of Tax Parcel 500-(A)-1A, (Parcel ID 019656), and
consisting of approximately 14.100 acres, and an approximate 0.460 acre parcel identified as Tax Parcel 499-(14)-A, B, (Parcel ID 019655), from Agricultural District (A)
to General Industrial District (I-2). The property is designated as Multi-Family
Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
- Conditional Use Permit request by David L. Dove and Hattie P. Dove, Property Owners, and The Town of Christiansburg, Applicant, to allow a Public Works Facility and operations including a “commercial garage” and sanitation vehicle storage in
the General Industrial District (I-2) on the property located at 255 Simmons Road NE identified as all of Tax Parcel 500-(A)-1A, (Parcel ID 019656), and consisting of approximately 14.100 acres, and an approximate 0.460 acre parcel identified as Tax
Parcel 499-(14)-A, B, (Parcel ID 019655). The property is designated as Multi-Family Residential on the Future Land Use Map of the 2013 Christiansburg Comprehensive Plan.
