CHRISTIANSBURG – The Town of Christiansburg has hired a new Small Business Solutions Manager, Miles Campbell.
As a previous small business owner, Campbell has spent the last several years growing his business and working with others to meet their small business needs. Campbell recognizes the Town of Christiansburg for its notability as the retail hub of the New River Valley.
“I’ve seen how involved local businesses are in our community, and how much our citizens and visitors choose to shop local and support Christiansburg businesses. In this role I have the unique opportunity to leverage my work experience to support small businesses, which I hope will ultimately support the growth and prosperity of our town,” said Campbell.
Campbell graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Management and Professional Sales. Upon graduation, he moved to Christiansburg and realized this was home.
“Having someone familiar with Christiansburg and understanding the pride we take in our small businesses, helps further the Town’s dedication to supporting local. Miles is a go-getter, a wealth of knowledge and a friendly resource for any current or prospective local business owners in Christiansburg,” said Town Manager Randy Wingfield.
Campbell’s professional background offers a variety of tools to help business owners including marketing, Parks and Recreation, Virginia building requirements and much more.
Campbell currently resides in Christiansburg with his wife, Sammie, and their two rescue dogs.
