Volunteers stir the Kiwanis Club’s famous Brunswick stew at last year’s event.
The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery County-Blacksburg and Price’s Fork Elementary School are holding their annual Brunswick stew fundraiser at the school on Saturday, April 5, 1 – 3 p.m.
Cost is $11 per quart and interested buyers are strongly encouraged to pre-order by calling 540-951-5834 or emailing pfesstew@gmail.com. Please pay with cash or check (payable to PFES) at pickup. Funds are used to support Kids at PFES or Kiwanis programs such as school food pantry, teachers’ needs, books for students, Salvation Army, young children ID kits, Scouting, Boys & Girls Club, Women’s Resource Center, Sleep in Heavenly Peace beds, and Montgomery Christmas Store.
