COMMUNITY SERVICES BOARD (NRV)
Sets policies and administers mental health, developmental disabilities and
substance abuse programs in the area. Reviews finances of mental health/
developmental disabilities agencies. Meetings are held the 4th Thursday of
each month at 7:00 p.m. Appointment is for three (3) years. There is one (1)
vacancy on this board. Applications will be taken until the vacancy is filled.
LIBRARY BOARD
Administers and establishes policies for the operation of the Montgomery
Floyd Regional Library. Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month
at 7:00 p.m. rotating monthly at the different libraries in Montgomery County.
Appointment is for four (4) years. There is one (1) vacancy on this board.
The Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants from Districts D and G.
Applications will be taken until the vacancy is filled.
SOCIAL SERVICES BOARD
An administrative board that works cooperatively with the State Board
providing financial assistance programs to individuals and otherwise assists
and protects individuals who are unable to care for themselves. Meetings are
held the 3rd Monday of every month at 9:00 a.m. at the Health and Human
Services Building in Christiansburg. There are two (2) vacancies on this board.
Applications will be taken until the vacancies are filled.
