Local runners compete at Shawsville Fourth of July 5K

SHAWSVILLE – The Waldron Independence Day 5k and Fun Run, which began and ended at Old Town Fields in Shawsville, kicked off a day of July 4 festivities in Eastern Montgomery County on Friday.

The Top 30 finishers of the race include:

First, Quinlan Beegle, 16:05.98; 2) Alex Mortimer; 3) Andrew Parkins; 4) Spencer Sisson; 5) Mason Erchull; 6) Garrett Weaver; 7) Spencer Britton; 8) Grayson Welcher; 9) Bryce Austin; 10) Brian Case; 11) Zane Moran; 12) Anderson Norton; 13) Derek Scheidt; 14) Matthew Wisnioski; 15) Kevin McGuire; 16) Bebo Himes; 17) Caleb Agee; 18) Martin Pizano-Franco; 19) Durelle Scott; 20) Lucas Nachman; 21) Matthew Boniface; 22) Michael Stowe; 23) Aden Clark; 24) Graham Weaver; 25) Eleanor Norton; 26) Caleb Simpson; 27) Zoe Belshan; 28) Louis Semtner; 29) Bradley Paye; and 30) Michael Clark.

Floyd’s Quinlan Beegle leads at the race start and would be the winner of the Shawsville Waldron Fitness 5k race on Friday morning. His race winning time of 16:05 was four seconds ahead of second place finisher Alex Mortimer.
