that the Board of Supervisors hereby schedules a public hearing for Monday, August 11, 2025 at 7:15 pm or as soon thereafter, at the Montgomery County Government Center, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to receive citizen comments on the Board of Supervisors intent to adopt a resolution amending the FY 2025-2026 budget by more than one percent of the total expenditures shown in the currently adopted budget by adding carryover funding appropriated in FY 25 by appropriating Montgomery County Public School FY 25 Year-End Operating Fund Balance Carryover and Encumbrances and MCPS Capital Balances and Encumbrances, not to exceed $50 million.
