Judith Toney Neily, 86, of Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord Oct. 7, 2025.
Judith was born Aug. 25, 1939 in Blacksburg to Virginia Grubb and Robert Lee Toney. She lived a life of faith, love, and service, sharing Christ’s light with all who knew her.
Judith was a devoted wife and mother and active member of The Roanoke Valley Presbyterian Church. She was a teacher for 26 years. She found joy in her family, sewing, and music, and her faith remained a source of strength throughout her life.
Judith is survived by her husband Warren S. Neily, Jr. and her children Warren S. Neily, III, Jane Neily Wood and Laura Neily Haskins (Keith Andrew Haskins); grandchildren William Reed Wood, IV, Marshall Robert Wood, Morgan Lynn Neily and Ava Sage Neily; sisters Myra Toney Bennett and Roberta Dianne Toney; and beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Toney, and Robert Toney and grandson Warren Reid Neily.
A visitation will be held at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg Friday, Oct. 17 5-7 p.m. Judith will be remembered for her faith, kindness, and steadfast love. Through all the pain, her faith was strong. Safe now in the arms of Jesus.
