Deadline to purchase tickets is Nov. 30

BLACKSBURG – The YMCA at Virginia Tech is delighted to announce its annual Holiday Tea, a cherished tradition that brings warmth, elegance, and community spirit to the season.

The festive event will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, at the beautiful and historic Lancaster House, located at 403 Washington St SW, Blacksburg.

Guests will enjoy a sumptuous holiday celebration featuring decadent treats and a cozy atmosphere—perfect for sharing with friends, family, or as a special gift to yourself. Seating is limited and offered in two sittings: first sitting: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and second sitting: 1 – 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are available now, but don’t delay—the deadline to purchase is Nov. 30.

Proceeds from the Holiday Tea will directly support vital YMCA Community Programs, including Meals On Main, Mobile Market, International Programming and After School Programs, helping us continue to serve the New River Valley.

“The Holiday Tea is more than a festive gathering—it’s a way for our community to come together and make a real impact,” said Director of Community Engagement, Laureen Blakemore, “Every ticket purchased helps us provide essential services like food security and youth programs to those who need them most.”

Reserve your spot today and celebrate the season while making a difference!
