Parker McAllister, a 6-4, 256 offensive lineman from Christiansburg High School, has announced his intentions to continue his playing career at Roanoke College.

McAllister is a second year all-county and all-River Ridge District selection and anchored a young line this past season in Christiansburg.

At Roanoke, he will join a second year ODAC football program, who finished 5-4 overall this past season.

Bryan Stinespring, a former assistant at Virginia Tech, leads Roanoke. McAllister will join several familiar faces for the Maroons, including Charlie Davis (Radford) and Stephan Myrthill (Christiansburg).

The Roanoke College football team ranked fifth in regular season home attendance among 241 Division III schools in 2025. RC plays its home games at nearby Salem Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,157 and opened in 1985.

The Maroons had an estimated total of 25,118 for their five home games, averaging 5,044 each Saturday. The biggest crowd of 5,815 saw RC battle ODAC Champion and NCAA Tournament team Randolph-Macon College on Oct. 4.

Roanoke opens the 2026 season at the University of Lynchburg Sept. 5 and will play five home games at Salem Stadium. Roanoke had not played football since 1942 when it was jumpstarted two years ago as a club team.
