Gregory Leonard Stokley, 67, of Radford, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 26, 2026. Born Nov. 25, 1958, he was preceded in death by his parents, Basil Leonard and Myrtle Jean Roatenberry Stokley.

Greg was a 1977 graduate of Radford High School and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in business from Radford University in 1982. He began his working career at Radford Army Ammunition Plant (Hercules, Inc.) He was later employed by Volvo in Dublin, VA where he retired in 2023 after a 30-year career in production. Greg was a faithful member of Grove United Methodist Church and will be missed by family and friends. Special thanks to Carilion Hospital, Radford Rehab and the many caregivers of Caregiver Placement Services, LLC attending to Greg the last two years, Robin Dawson, Dana Otey, Terry Dorton, Cindy Wilson, Eden Collins and Laurie Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Grove United Methodist Church in Radford with entombment in the mausoleum at Highland Memory Gardens. The Reverend Doctor Jan Nicholson Angle will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grove United Methodist Church, 1020 Tyler Avenue, Radford, VA 24141or Radford High School Foundation, PO Box 2823, Radford, VA 24143 marked for the Greg Stokley Memorial Scholarship.
