ELLISTON – Students at Eastern Montgomery High School stepped out of the classroom and into real-world career pathways during a CTE Takeover Day recently hosted by Montgomery County Public Schools, Branch, and its trade partners.
“As the event sponsor, Branch is partnering with industry professionals to transform the school into an interactive, hands-on learning environment focused on construction, engineering, and skilled trades,” the company announced. “Students will engage directly with equipment, materials, and professionals who are building the infrastructure of their communities.”
CTE Takeover Day introduces students to high-demand, high-skill career paths that do not require a traditional four-year degree. By bringing industry directly into the school, Montgomery County Public Schools, Branch, and its partners are helping students explore meaningful careers, understand workforce opportunities, and see firsthand how they can build a prosperous future.
