The Radford University men’s golf program and head coach Mike Grant announced Thursday afternoon that Isaiah Cantrell has been signed to the team for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
“We are excited to have Isaiah join our program,” commented Grant. “He is very athletic, and full of power. He has the tool set to be successful.”
Cantrell is incoming freshman hailing from Floyd County High School where he has had a successful high school career. Cantrell has competed among the top golfers in Virginia and was named First Team All-State on three separate occasions.
Cantrell has also competed at the VSGA Jr matchplay, where he had a top 10 finish. To go along with his three-time First Team All-State selections, Cantrell has also been named to the First-Team Roanoke hall of fame three times.
