A new restaurant is coming to Christiansburg.
Taco Bell has announced construction plans for the Gateway Shopping Plaza on Roanoke Street.
Plans presented to the town show a 2,250 sq. ft. building with 40 seats and a drive-through window.
The restaurant will be located on a vacant lot created by the moving of the traffic light at the shopping center that also includes Food Lion and Tractor Supply.
Grading has begun on the site. A final construction completion date has not been released. The shopping center is owned by SHAH Development.
Taco Bell already operates another location at the Marketplace Shopping on the corner of North Franklin and Peppers Ferry Blvd.
