This year, Cheeseburger in Parrot-Dise returns with a fresh outdoor island festival feel as we embrace Living on Island Time.
Guests can look forward to the crowd-favorite fresh margaritas and local Best Burger in the Burgs competition, and new traditions throughout the evening that bring even more flavor and fun to this beloved, 13-year summer tradition.
New features this year include Wybe’s Island Shop for souvenirs and Big Lick Ice Cream along with additional island-inspired experiences, live entertainment from The Panjammers, and surprises woven throughout the festival grounds. All proceeds benefit programs for seniors at Warm Hearth Village, a nonprofit community with a 50-year history in Blacksburg.
The event is Saturday, Aug. 15, 6–10 p.m., rain or shine at The Village Center, 2387 Warm Hearth Dr., Blacksburg. It includes live music, a burger throwdown, a silent auction, island vibes and benefits seniors.

General admission is $50 and includes one full meal (burger of choice, two sides and dessert), non-alcoholic beverage and access to all festival entertainment and experiences.
