By the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery,
Virginia that the Board of Supervisors hereby schedules a public hearing on Tuesday, October
13, 2026, at 7:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter at the Montgomery County Government Center, 2 nd
Floor Board Room, 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia, to hear citizen comments on
the proposed ordinance entitled “Ordinance Amending Chapter 2, Division 5, Section 2-107 of
the Code of the County of Montgomery, Virginia Entitled Tax Exemption and Deferrals for Elderly and Disabled by Increasing the Net Combined Financial Worth and the Income Limits to be Eligible for Tax Relief”.
A copy of the full text of the Ordinance is on file in the Office of the County Administrator and
is available for public inspection or copying.
