Edwin Chester Stone, Sr. of Radford, departed this life Oct. 11, 2026. He was born in Bassett, Virginia on Feb. 28, 1939.
He is survived by daughter, Meg Stone and her husband, Fred Kellerman; daughter, Lorri Stone and her husband, Stuart Allen; two grandsons, Rick Kellerman and Wil Kellerman; and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his son, Eddie Stone.
Ed obtained his college degree from Bridgewater College and his law degree from the University of Virginia. In 1964, he moved to Radford and joined the law firm of Dalton & Turk. He practiced law in Radford and Christiansburg for 59 years until his retirement in 2023.
The family will hold a private burial service.
The Stone family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
