Harry Michael Howard, Sr., 71, of Radford, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired truck driver with Goodwill Industries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry T. and Viola Morine Bentley Howard.
Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Harry Michael, Jr. and Pam Howard of Tallahassee, Florida, and Tony Lee Howard of Pilot; daughter and son-in-law, LaNita and Ken McLeod of Williamsburg; granddaughter, Tori Howard of Pilot; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jewel and Jim Whited, Lynn and Jim Seltz, Barbara Mathes, Rebecca and Chuck May, Belinda and W. C. Helton, and Madonna and Jim Warmack; and special “sister” Brenda Green.
The family received friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services began at 1 p.m. with Pastor Charles Bias officiating. Interment with full military honors followed at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
