Blacksburg’s Shane Mitcham moves in for the win over Floyd’s Josh Landreth in the 285-pound weight class. Auburn split with Floyd and Blacksburg in Tuesday’s meet. The Eagles beat Floyd 30-10 and lost to Blacksburg 48-18. The Bruins also downed Floyd 30-10 in the tri-meet.
Auburn’s Dustin Arnold and Floyd’s Jacob Dowd battle in the 152-pound weight class during Tuesday’s tri-meet. Arnold would get the win by pin fall.
Christian Vance of Blacksburg also picked up a win Tuesday over James Wade of Floyd.
Auburn’s Brady Linkous remained unbeaten with a pin over James Wade of Floyd.
