Franklin D. Harvey, age 78, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Highland Ridge Rehab Center. He was born in Jumping Branch, West Virginia on June 7, 1938 to the late A. Garnett and Estella Mantha Waddell Harvey.
He is survived by his wife, Micajahala Spradlin Harvey; daughter, Rebecca Seagraves; sons, A. Stephen Harvey and Daniel Clayton Harvey; sisters, Helen Lewis and Vera Basham; brother, Eugene Harvey; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel at 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. in Blacksburg. Interment will follow at the Westview Cemetery in Blacksburg.
