Mimia Lee Moore, 89, of Christiansburg, moved to her heavenly home on June 7, 2017.
She was born in Speedwell, TN on July 30, 1927, to the late Matthew and Hassie Tolliver and was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ira. J. Moore, grandson, Darian Moore, brothers, Hoyle Tolliver and John Stanley Tolliver, and niece, Janet Tolliver Brock, as well as numerous nieces and nephews any many special friends.
She is survived by her son Jerry and wife, Barbara, sister, Cathy Lou Tolliver, brother, J.D. Tolliver and wife, Fayette Tollvier, grandson, Deane Moore, granddaughter, Candace Burton, great-grandkids, Vincent and Kirsten Burton and great great-grandkids, Ky’leke Eggleston and Kayden Burdette, special friends, Mable Custer, Paula Saunders and Mike and Trish Gray. A special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice, LPD.
She retired from Virginia Tech with over 40 years of service. She was a member of the Christiansburg Wesleyan Church.
Funeral services were Sunday in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lee Sarver officiating. Burial followed in Westview Cemetery.
