The animal of the week is from the Humane Society of Montgomery County. Each Wednesday the News Messenger features an animal available for adoption. This beautiful guy was found wandering on a farm. He is a two to four years old, neutered male. Captain Carl is blind but it is not slowing him down. He has been tested and is negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. He is also missing his tail. We are not sure if he was injured and his tail was amputated or if he was born that way. He has been neutered and is now current on his vaccines. He seems to be okay with other cats but we do not know how he feels about dogs. Captain Carl will need a quiet home with a patient family.
