Auburn’s Caitlin Dominy smiles as she wins the 1A/2A state 1000 m championship on Thursday at Roanoke College. Dominy surged halfway through the race and would hold the lead ot the finish to win in a time of 3:12.74.Auburn’s Nolan Harris won the 3200 m 1A/2A state championship with a time of 9:41.60.The Auburn boys earned a second place state team title at the 1A/2A track and field championship at Roanoke College.
