Celebration in honor of Nannie B. Hairston

Join us for a celebration of the life and legacy of Mrs. Nannie B.Hairston. Oral historian Sheree Scarborough will talk about her experience recording Mrs. Hairston’s memories.  Scarborough is the author of African American Railroad Workers of Roanoke.  Come share your memories!  Refreshments will be served.

Voices from the Holy Land Film Series

Voices From the Holy Land is a series of films that discusses the issues in the middle east from all perspectives. This month’s selection is “Rachel: an American Conscience.”  Following the film there will be a discussion of the movie.
