Each Saturday the paper features a dog and a cat from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center (480 Cinnabar Road, Christiansburg).
Smokey is a sweet, quiet kitty who is looking for the purrfect loving home. This shy gal has been at the Animal Care and Adoption Center since early June. Once she knows you, be prepared to give and get a lot of nuzzling. She is almost 6 years old, weighing about 9 lbs.
This handsome guy is a friendly, curious 11-year-old. Isaiah is good with other dogs and walks well on a leash. He enjoys sniffing around and checking out his environment. When outside, he has a penchant for munching on grass—a habit he needs to kick so that he doesn’t upset his belly!
