Club M.O.M. (Meeting Other Munchkins)
Every Wednesday after Storytime, 11:15 AM – 12:15 PM, Jessie Peterman Library, Floyd
This play group will meet every Wednesday there is a Storytime planned. Relatives can relax and have a cup of tea while their children play with blocks and other toys.
Art Exhibit: Debby Freed with DSF Ceramics
All Month of September, at the Blacksburg Library
Based in Montgomery County, Artist Debby Freed works from her home. Her pieces are hand built, using slab, pinch pot, coil, and other hand building techniques. A member of Round the Mountain and the Blue Ridge Potters Guild, Freed takes part in the annual potters Guild shows.

Dying Green

Postpartum VA Support Group
Sunday, September 30, 7:00 – 8:00 PM at the Blacksburg Library
Circle of Moms (expecting moms through school-age) exists to offer support to all mothers in the NRV. Join us when you can to discuss the transition of becoming of mother and all things very real and honest about being a mom. No topics are off limits and all group discussions will remain confidential. Babies in arms are welcome. The goal is to keep this group peer-led and offer a safe environment where mothers feel confident sharing whatever is on their mind.
