Auburn High School took this year’s Class 1 Region C boys’ basketball title, and the team’s coach, Terry Millirons, was honored as the region’s Coach of the Year.
Taylor Newcomb and Ethan Millirons were also named to the first-team All-Region. Austin Ford was named to the second team.
Eastern Montgomery had two players named to the All-Pioneer boys’ basketball team, three to the girls’ district team and Garrett East was first-team All-Pioneer Boys with Cole Shepherd second team.
On the girls’ side, Eli Underwood was first team. Emma Ryan and Haley Howard were given honorable mention. East was also named to the second team for Class 1 Region C.
