Auburn’s Jessica Musselman placed 4th in the long jump and won the triple jump with a distance of 34-08. The Auburn girls’ squad claimed the region championship with 171 points. Eastern Montgomery finished second with 118.5 points. Narrows was third.Eastern Montgomery’s Madison Smith placed 3rd in the discus (82-01) and followed that up with a 4th place shot put result (31-03) at the Region 1C championship meet.Auburn’s Levi Stephens placed 5th in the Region 1C discus finals with a throw of 110-07. In the boys’ competition, Covington (110 points) took the top spot with George Wythe second (107.33). Auburn finished third and Eastern Montgomery sixth.
