Ethel Vaught Dillon, 86, of Prices Fork, passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at her home. She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Dillon.
Ethel retired from V.P.I. & S.U. after more than 30 years of service. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
She leaves behind her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Roger Hamlin, Bernice Elam; grandchildren, Tonya Harris and husband, Matthew, Nicole Rose Shannon, Kimberly Flower and husband, Joshua, Eric Elam, Christopher Elam, Betty Seagraves and Bryan, Ricky Hamlin; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Reed officiating. Interment followed in Harless Cemetery, Long Shop. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019 at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
