Maston Stanley led Christiansburg to a stunning victory over Blacksburg in the battle of the burgs and the U.S. Army Rivalry championship game. He racked up 204 yards on 22 carries to go over 1,000 yards for the season. For his effort, he received the game’s U.S. Army MVP award and is this week’s News Messenger player of the week.
