Philip Wayne Newby, 63, of Radford, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020. He was employed with Roanoke Electric Steel and was a U. S. M. C. veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Edward Newby; and a sister, Linda Lovern.
Survivors include his son, Philip Newby, Jr.; a daughter, Angela Newby; his fiancé, Valerie Cronin; his mother, Frances Viola Lester Newby; a brother, Lewis Newby, Jr.; a sister, Betty Newby; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
The Newby family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
