Anne Ransom Edmunds, 81, of Blacksburg, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Old Hickory, Tenn. on Feb. 24, 1939, to the late Robert Clifton and Anne Johnson Edmunds. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Captain Robert C. Edmunds, Jr., and the father of her children, Duncan Holsclaw.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Tina and Craig Reber and Anne Pittman; her grandchildren, Bruce Pittman, Jr., Brandon Pittman, Kaleigh Pittman, Briggs Pittman and Breanne Reber; her best friend, Ann Linden and her extended family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Blacksburg.
