The Hokies have announced the finalized swimming and diving schedule for the 2020-21 season.
The schedule features four in-conference meets against Duke, North Carolina, NC State and Virginia. NC State won the men’s ACC championship for the sixth straight time this past season, and the Wolfpack women placed second. Virginia won the women’s ACC championship this past season.
The team will open its in-conference season in Durham, N.C., against Duke on Nov. 7.
The US Open will follow in late November. Tech will then travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., for the North Carolina invitational on Dec. 4-7. The Hokies will resume conference meets with Virginia on Jan.16 and NC State on Jan. 30.
The schedule has four Hokie Belt Challenge Duals contributing to the Hokie Belt Challenge. The Hokies have already competed on Sept. 26 and Oct. 10. The final two duals will be Oct. 24 and Jan. 9.
The Hokies are set to host the Virginia Tech Invitational on Feb. 5-7, followed by the Women’s and Men’s ACC Championships Feb. 17-20 and Feb. 24-27 respectively in Greensboro, N.C.
The NCAA Zone A Diving Championships date has not been released yet, but it is expected to be in March and be followed by the National Invitational Championships March 12-14 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Women’s NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 17-20 in Greensboro, and the men’s championships are scheduled for March 24-27 in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Hokies will wrap up their season in April with the USA Swimming Grand Prix.
