BLACKSBURG — Virginia Tech athletics announced the availability of new 2021 football season tickets on Tuesday along with information on pricing and ticket and Hokie Scholarship Fund timelines.
Fans who had originally purchased season tickets for the 2020 season can expect to receive information via email in late November or early December regarding the season ticket renewal process.
Virginia Tech football’s 2021 slate includes seven home games, highlighted by a non-conference clash with Notre Dame and matchups with ACC foes North Carolina, Pitt, Syracuse and Duke.
“Our department is excited to share these details with Hokie Nation,” said Director of Athletics Whit Babcock. “Our staff believes it is important to offer much flexibility for our fans without raising season ticket prices. We look forward to hopefully welcoming Hokie fans back into Lane Stadium for the 2021 season.”
Season tickets for 2021 range from $350 to $450 with pricing remaining the same as the 2020 season. New season tickets purchased for 2021 will be initially secured at the $350 price point without assigned location. Season ticket holders will have the option to select seats in the summer and pay the difference in ticket cost at that time.
Per-seat gifts are required for the opportunity to select seats in Lane Stadium after purchasing season tickets. These gifts are minimum requirements and do not guarantee specific locations. All new season tickets require a donation of at least $25 per seat to the Hokie Scholarship Fund due at the time of purchase.
Season ticket holders may be required to pay an additional per seat donation at the time of selecting seats depending on seat location and other gifts made to the Hokie Scholarship Fund ahead of the deadline on March 31, 2021.
Season ticket holders have three payment options for 2021 tickets. Upon checkout, fans can choose to pay the full $350 per ticket plus the required per seat gift(s) or pay 1% down and select from one of two payment plans.
The first payment plan consists of recurring monthly payments beginning the month following the time of purchase and concluding in July. The second payment plan allows a buyer to defer payments until May of 2021 at which point recurring monthly payments would begin before concluding in July.
Tech football season ticket holders have access to a number of exclusive benefits including priority access to seat selections, away-game tickets and bowl-game tickets as well as a dedicated account executive and the opportunity to select a parking pass location.
