Betty DeLouise Mitchell of Radford passed to Heaven on Nov. 22, 2020.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1934, the daughter of Edith and Taylor Mitchell.
She was retired after working for 38 years in the Veterinary Science Department at Virginia Tech.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Garfield Mitchell.
Betty is survived by her sister, Geneva Day of Chesapeake, Va.; a son, William W. King, Jr., of Virginia Beach, Va.; a grandson, Todd W. King of Farirax, Va.; cousins Mike and Ramona Mitchell of Floyd and Kim and Steve Hughes of Chesapeake and Amber.
Funeral services were held at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2020, at Calvary Baptist Church in Radford. Entombment followed at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The Rev. Timothy Worles and the Rev. Brain Cochran presided.
